"The Timelost" expands The Rook franchise by presenting our hero with a jungle-bred teenaged daughter from the not-too-distant future. She's Sheena with depth, breadth and sass, complete with her personal, way-better time machine!
The story was written in 1978 as a reserve to be readied for print in the event of a catastrophe. Or a missed deadline. It wasn't published until 1981, year of the cutbacks.
It should have been published sooner. Readers loved Coral. They demanded more!
