"The Dane Curse"
was one of the last Rook stories to be written. It was published in two parts
in Eerie magazine in 1982. The second, and concluding part is republished here.
At least most of it is. It is our current work-in progress and page two is missing.
The story, in its entirety is being updated and sent through modern production
so it can look better on a 72dpi screen than it ever did on 80 dpi newsprint.
Starting midway through a story like this, may not be the most ideal way
to read and enjoy a Rook adventure. But, we did promise to post as the work
was completed. And, this one looks so good...and is so near completion, we
felt you'd enjoy a look at it in progress.
